Guests keep a PerksVisit punch card in Google Wallet. They scan a QR code once, save the pass, and earn a stamp on later visits. Staff use a browser scanner—no guest app to install and no point-of-sale project.
Scan the venue QR codeThe join page is the venue’s own PerksVisit link, on a table tent, the bar, or a receipt.
Claim the passThe guest enters a name and email so the card belongs to them at that venue. A pass from one bar does not earn stamps at another.
Add to Google WalletThey tap Add to Google Wallet and pick the Google account that should hold the card. The same pass also stays available as a web link.
How the bar stamps it
Open the scanner in a browserStaff, or a self-service station, scan the pass on the guest’s phone.
One stamp per visitVenue rules apply. A common setup is one successful scan per calendar day so regulars cannot collect extra stamps in one sitting.
Redeem at the barWhen the card is full, staff scan again to start redemption. The reward copy and stamp goal are set for that venue.
Do guests need the Google Wallet app already installed?
They need Google Wallet to save the pass there. If they cannot add it, the same PerksVisit pass still works as a web link on the phone.
Does a Google Wallet loyalty card need a POS connection?
No. Staff stamp and redeem from a browser scanner. PerksVisit does not connect to the point-of-sale system to run a visit punch card.
What if a guest has an iPhone?
iPhone guests can save the pass in Google Wallet if they use it, or open the web pass link. Stamps and redemption work from that pass on a modern phone.
